Who are we?

Herberts Performance is the brainchild of one person - obsessed with everything mechanical and going fast - Anthony Parker 

As long as he can remember Anthony has been obsessed with cars, stemming from his grandpa telling him stories of motoring in its infancy, and grandpas dad (Herbert) being the first man on his road to own a car. It was inevitable that this guy would grow into a petrol head, the experience those early motorists had is a world away from the world we live in today, but we wouldn't be where we are today if it weren't for the last 100 plus years of constant development of the motor vehicle. 

Learning to weld when he was 12, Anthony then went on to build a variety of projects and cars before heading off to study motorsport engineering at university. This degree further fueled his passion for motorsport and race cars. There’s not enough space here to write about the different experiences and fantastic people he met along the way, but safe to say; Several years in engineering have given a vast knowledge on what makes a car tick and how to improve and optimise just about everything. 

Herberts Performance is about providing customers with those hard to find, discontinued unavailable parts, or even helping to remanufacture the unobtainium. Herberts understands the importance of keeping old cars alive and is passionate about everything with an engine - Especially cars and motorcycles pre 2000 (though we do make exceptions!) 

We also like to solve problems and therefore will be releasing a short range of tools and equipment to help make your life easier, if we have found a problem and solved it, the solution will be available here on this website, similarly if you have a problem you want us to solve, or a part you're unable to obtain or need to remanufacture, please get in touch and we would be more than happy to help.
